One Mare Confirmed Pregnant, Another Back on Track

It’s been a happy start to the day at Horse Husband Stables. My Audubon (Audi) was confirmed pregnant at her 14-day check today—following her May 12 cover by Zandon. Her 16-day scan to rule out twins is scheduled for Wednesday, followed by a 28-day heartbeat check if all goes well. For now, all signs point to a healthy, successful start to her 2026 pregnancy.

📸 The black circular area in the ultrasound image is the embryonic vesicle, which confirms early pregnancy in the mare. At this stage (14 days post-ovulation), it's clearly visible and measuring appropriately for gestational age.

Meanwhile, Lady Dyanaformer (Dyana)—who was not pregnant at her 14-day check last week—is already back on track. Her follicle check today showed a developing dominant follicle with all other physical indicators such as cervix tone and edema looking good, and she’s headed to Taylor Made tomorrow (May 27) for another visit with Knicks Go. With breeding season still in full swing, timing is everything, and the team is hopeful that this second cycle is the one.
